10 Biggest Winners Of The 2016 WWE Draft (One Year Later)
The draft is one year old - who has benefited the most from its return?
On 19 July 2016, WWE once again split into two separate brands. The days of RAW and SmackDown supershows ended, as SmackDown became a live show in order to inject some life into the blue brand. It was on the live premiere of SmackDown that the roster was divided into two for the first time in five years.
Everyone and their dog made predictions of what would come from the draft. One year later, the time has come to evaluate just how successful the split was. Has it benefited the entire roster? Who will look back on this time last year as the rebirth of their career?
The draft certainly didn't work for everyone. A number of superstars have been frustrated by a continued lack of opportunities despite the split, spinning their wheels as they continue to be looked over. It was supposed to be a brand new dawn for the roster - but for some it has been more of the same.
There are two sides to every coin of course, and some individuals have seen their careers skyrocket since last July. The draft was an absolute godsend to a host of RAW and SmackDown superstars - none more so than the following clutch.
