For years, fans anxiously anticipated the moment that the Stinger would finally find his way to World Wrestling Entertainment. When he finally did in November 2014, fans imagined the scenarios that would present themselves. A feud with The Authority, an epic encounter with The Undertaker at WrestleMania. The options were endless and the merchandising and marketing possibilities were enough to justify the giant contract alone. Then, in one fell swoop, Sting walked into WrestleMania and lost to Triple H, ending any chance he had of becoming the special attraction that fans looked forward to returning. He was cut off at the knees from the start. Originally concerned about joining Vince McMahon's company because of the treatment other WCW stars were faced with, he had his concerns confirmed when he was beaten for one reason: to reaffirm WCW's place in history as WWE's b****. It was a disappointing conclusion to what could very well be Sting's one and only WrestleMania appearance, not to mention a loss that threatens to undermine his entire Vigilante persona.
