5. The Shield Temporarily Reform Against League Of Nations
Ideally on pay-per-view, The Shield would then meet the League Of Nations. Obviously, this depends on the group comprising of Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Rusev and 'King' Barrett still being a thing by the time Seth Rollins has returned to action. A show like Battleground may be perfect for such a match, but could rely on WWE stretching out the story over a protracted period that may prove too long. There's an argument to be made that the League Of Nations could be shown apparently reinjuring Seth's knee backstage, which would rule him out of the bout. This gives Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns the motivation to try and avenge their ally against the international group. Even if Rollins does make it to the match, it wouldn't ruin the story because WWE would still get an excellent match out of it. Fans would be overjoyed to see The Shield together again, pulling in the same direction to defeat a faction which has shown itself to be wholly unpopular.
