10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw (Oct 19)

Will these legends turn Raw's ratings around?

Perusing through fan response to this past week's episode of Monday Night Raw makes for very interesting reading. Generally speaking, people felt the show was distinctly lacking, and did little to build towards the upcoming Hell In A Cell Pay-Per-View. The lack of really interesting matches or segments was jarring, because whilst Raw has been a mixed bag over the past few months, there's still been some good points. In truth, it simply felt like the creative team just wanted to get through this particular broadcast. The entire 3-hour show felt paper-thin in story development, and matches were thrust onto the program randomly. All in all, there were 10 bouts on Monday's telecast, and only a handful of them felt like they served any purpose. This article is dedicated to exploring what WWE could do to make the next edition of the flagship show worthwhile. There's an up in the air feel about the promotion at the moment, storylines are failing to click and top stars like John Cena are apparently set to take some time off. With that in mind, just where should the promotion take things? Monday's show is the final one before Hell In A Cell, so there definitely needs to be something weighty for fans to sink their teeth into.
