Thus far, the 'Demon' Kane has run roughshod over Seth Rollins. In many ways, that's exactly the way the story should be booked, but where are The Authority throughout all of this? Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have looked like chumps over the past few weeks, being outgunned and outsmarted by 'Corporate' Kane. On Raw, they weren't even around. Instead, Kane simply palmed them off over the phone. This doesn't make The Authority look like they have any power, which is surely the point of their existence. It's all well and good to make them look vulnerable at times, but booking them to look stupid doesn't help anyone. This coming week, The Authority should stand behind Seth Rollins a little more, adding a little doubt to the outcome of Hell In A Cell. On the Pay-Per-View, 'Corporate' Kane will lose his job with the faction if 'Demon' Kane doesn't defeat Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. That particular aspect of things has been left behind a little too much, instead of being focal point. Kane has dominated, and it's time for Triple H and Stephanie to get their own back, because there's no clear babyface in the match.
