10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Dec 7)
Could The Authority And League Of Nations grow further on Raw?
WWE remain in the strange place right now. Over the past decade or so, the time immediately before the end of the calendar year has become quite the burden for the company creatively. It really seems like the creative team attempt to write filler, hoping to see things through in relatively painless fashion to the Royal Rumble. Then, WrestleMania season can begin, and everything feels rosy again. Over the past few weeks, Monday Night Raw has certainly had that feel to it. Looking at things another way, WWE have no choice but to press ahead and try to feature talent which - right now, at least - isn't pulling in big ratings. Names such as Roman Reigns, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and The Wyatt Family will continue to be pushed, regardless of the sagging TV rating situation. This past week's Raw tried to revamp the heel side of the equation. The so-called 'League Of Nations' includes Sheamus, 'King' Barrett, Rusev, Alberto Del Rio and The New Day. It's a good lineup, and it'd be churlish to complain that the likes of Rusev, Barrett and The New Day are being featured heavily. However - on social media - fans generally didn't respond well to Raw or the formation of the group. What can WWE do to ensure that the next episode fares a little better? This article offers up 10 potential - as well a logical - booking points which the promotion could use.
