The latest edition of Monday Night Raw occurred 23 years to the day that the first episode aired way back in 1993. This must have been a poignant moment for Vince McMahon to soak in as he stood in the middle of the ring to open the show. Back in '93, Raw featured some hype for the upcoming Royal Rumble match. In 2016, the same was true, only this time McMahon was playing heel instead of straight-laced announcer. Much of the program revolved around the idea that Vince and Stephanie McMahon were determined to toy with Roman Reigns before he defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the 30-man match. The main event of Raw was dubbed 'One vs. All', and eventually ended with Brock Lesnar wiping the champion out as the show faded to black. The forthcoming episode will be WWE's last before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. By the time the Rumble concludes, WWE will be fully on the yearly 'Road To WrestleMania'. Just what could the creative team do to ensure that they head into the annual event in the best way possible? This article offers up some suggestions for booking ideas that could take place on the program, leading nicely into the Royal Rumble.
