10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Oct 17)
10. Foley & Stephanie Agree To Most Of SD's Survivor Series Proposals
On the latest edition of SmackDown Live, Shane McMahon and his General Manager Daniel Bryan sent out a challenge to Monday Night Raw for Survivor Series on November 20. Not only did McMahon and Bryan propose a 'Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown' elimination bout, they also put forward the challenge for traditional Survivor Series matches involving tag-teams from each brand and female competitors.
It makes sense to imagine that Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley will address what happened on SmackDown come the next episode of their own show. Coming out to kick off the program, Foley and Stephanie could accept the first two matches, only to then turn down one involving the women.
Explaining this, Foley would say that female athletes have all too often been pushed into multi-woman affairs at Survivor Series over the years. On this occasion, that won't be happening. Instead, they will be featured in one of the few singles encounters on the Survivor Series card.
Immediately, this sets up another challenge, this time from Raw to SmackDown. Stephanie and Foley are willing to take females seriously, meaning Shane and Bryan must follow suit.
