To put it lightly, the news of Bray Wyatt’s WWE release has shocked the wrestling world to its core.

The earth-shattering move caused mass confusion, and in typical Bray Wyatt fashion, he finds himself at the head of water-cooler conversation in sports entertainment world.

Nonetheless, Wyatt is gone from the WWE, and with him departs his fascinating Fiend character. A ton of speculative headlines have followed Wyatt out the Titan Towesr door, and these will continue to shadow him for quite some time. Well, at least until we find out his next career move, which many hope will be landing in AEW.

As the dust settles on his WWE career, however, this is also a time for fans to reminisce on the cult-leader-turned-murder-clown's best WWE moments and matches. Wyatt’s battles with Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton will live forever in memory, for very different reasons it should be said. Although another discussion that should be had is of those contests never sanctioned during Bray’s time with WWE.

Continual mismanagement of his captivating characters, and an almost abuse of his remarkable gift for re-invention, defined a run with the company which could be described as outrageously unfulfilled if nothing else. The absence of these encounters from Wyatt’s résumé are some of many reasons why WWE infuriatingly dropped the ball with the man behind The Fiend...

10. Karrion Kross

Well don’t these two have quite a bit in common.

There was still so much more for Bray Wyatt to accomplish, especially under his Fiend guise in WWE. A wave of dream match money has been left on the table, but more than anything, his departure has once again shone a bright light on the rudderless mismanagement of his brand. Unfortunately, this makes it all too easy to compare him to a performer he shares eerie similarities with, one who is currently suffering from absurdly mediocre treatment on the main roster.

Fall and pray, Karrion Kross.

Needless tinkering with and stripping back of everything which makes Kross' character a uniquely compelling draw, is something Bray Wyatt had become all too familiar with in WWE, and it is the main reason why he never reached his blistering potential. It is still early days for the brooding NXT Champion, but the clock is ticking.

The cryptic and theatrical intensity infused within Karrion’s style, would mesh sublimely with the hard-hitting brutal offense of Wyatt. It would be akin to a clash between two mythical gods. The stunning battle of entrances is enough to justify the fight, and it would present WWE’s production crew the perfect opportunity to build infinite hype for a showdown between two larger-than-life competitors. It is such a shame we never got this match, and we’re only just getting started.
