Back during the heyday of the original Extreme Championship Wrestling, New Jack's matches often looked like a live music video more than a wrestling contest. With Dr. Dre and Ice Cube's 'Natural Born Killaz' playing over the PA system as he dished out vicious beatings, Jack's violent brawls felt lively and exciting. There were virtually no wrestling moves in sight, they were simply street fights that looked like they were should be taking place outside of nightclubs. That's something many people can identify with, and there's a certain sense of being unable to look away even though the violence is gratuitous. Taking things even further to the extreme, New Jack routinely launched himself off a balcony through a nearby table, crushing his opponent. At ECW's Living Dangerously 1999 pay-per-view, the man was locked in battle against his former tag-team partner Mustafa. Ascending the steps up to the higher tier of the arena, New Jack proceeded to take a serious leap of faith and reportedly shattered his ankle upon grazing the table and thumping to the floor. Non-wrestling fans likely won't be able to believe such a stunt.
