0Last week, fans had to be pleasantly surprised at how
Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley operated on Raw. They show’s authority figures
opened up the program by creating a new top title, setting up matches to crown
a new contender, making a Women’s Championship match and then getting out of
the way.

The commissioner and GM didn’t meddle in the program, didn’t
hog the spotlight and didn’t chew the scenery. It was a welcome departure from
everything we’ve seen from McMahon authority figures in recent years. The
question that remains: Is this the new normal, or was it a one-week aberration?
Will Stephanie be able to stay out of the way and let the superstars shine, or will she be front-and-center in multiple segments as a focal point?
