10 Candidates For WWE Hall Of Fame 2016 Warrior Award

8. Brian Gerwitz

The former head writer for Monday Night RAW, Brian Gerwitz, is often credited for the success of many WWE superstars over the years due to the dialogue, storylines, and segments he would write for WWE TV. Stars like Edge, Christian, and Chris Jericho have all spoken highly of Gerwitz and his writing, but no superstar has credited Gerwitz more than The Rock. In fact, when Brian Gerwitz left WWE in late June 2015, it was in order to take an executive job in Dwayne Johnson's 7 Bucks Entertainment production company. Gerwitz had worked for WWE for nearly 15 years prior to his departure and his writing helped bring WWE some of the highest ratings in company history. Although Brian was removed as the lead writer in 2012, he remained with the company in the role of a consultant until departing for The Rock's company in 2015. Brian would be a deserving candidate for WWE's Warrior Award due to his behind-the-scenes contributions and the impact he had one the careers of many of the biggest stars of the 2000s.
