10 Craziest Chris Jericho Stories You Won't Believe

5. Can I Please Have A Picture With You?

Playing a heel in the modern world is mighty difficult, especially if you plan on hamming it up even when the camera stops rolling. Chris Jericho desperately wanted his new, suit-wearing villain character to be a success a few years ago, and made the decision to stop posing for pictures, signing autographs and interacting with fans outside arenas. Of course, this didn't necessarily mean Jericho would be rude to fans, but he wouldn't engage them in quite the same manner he had when babyface. Unfortunately, one of the biggest heat-seeker moments of his career, Y2J's pushing of a female fan, and scuffle with a few other enthusiasts, had him in legal hot water for months. Trying to drive through a crowd of WWE fans who had gathered around heckling him, Jericho left his vehicle, and ended up pushing a woman (who admittedly had put her hands on him first). Incredibly, even though it was clear the situation was getting out of hand, the fan kept asking if she could "still get a picture" with the man. Incidents such as this were ten a penny in the wrestling world 20/30 years ago, but with the advent of better technology, the world can see these things within a matter of hours, and this one didn't look good for Jericho. Many people felt he had punched the woman, due to the angle of the footage.
