If there were ever a time to be more concerned about Sheamus holding the Money in the Bank briefcase, it'd be right now. Note that Sheamus is now flanked by Rusev and King Barrett, two heels who get solid heat and have ultra-protected finishers. Thus, if WWE wanted to push these three as a full-fledged stable with Sheamus as the World Champion, it's an effective way to draw some heat and do some (maybe not gamechanging) business on top in the company. Sheamus getting a push in lieu of Cena and Orton only works insofar as a) how hard Sheamus is willing to work to be perceived on the level of Orton or Cena, and b) if creative can assist in developing this idea. Ultimately, if Sheamus' MITB briefcase-holder era hadn't seemed so generic, this idea would be ranked higher, But given the desperate-seeming way in which WWE is presenting themselves right now, a possible Sheamus cash in feels sadly par for the course.
