There have been plenty of awful gimmicks in WWE history (Bastion Booger, Beaver Cleavage and The Boogeyman, just to name three from the "Bs"), but have any been so pointless and unnecessarily mean as giving Natalya gas on a constant basis? There's just something about Vince McMahon where he loves to have some fun at the Hart family's expense. Perhaps they take themselves too seriously. Perhaps he's just a big jerk. Who's to say? But despite Natalya showing a lot of promise her first couple years in the company, the boss must have not thought she was entertaining enough. So he gave her gas. A lot of it. Out of nowhere, every week we'd see Natalya fart in a backstage skit. McMahon and grade school children everywhere had a good laugh. Others groaned about how awful and immature it was. The thing is, it didn't lead to anything, it was just pointless and that was clear at the outset. We were simply supposed to believe that a normal woman suddenly had killer farts. With Nattie's tummy troubles and her year long relationship with The Great Khali, it's pretty amazing that she's still employed by WWE. Good for her!
