10 Current Superstars That Are Future WWE Main Eventers

3. AJ Styles

Among other reasons, AJ Styles seems to have finally been brought into WWE as the unofficial replacement for Daniel Bryan as the "internet darling" of the WWE. Bryan's future remains heavily in doubt, but AJ Styles has been positioned quite strongly since debuting at the Royal Rumble. He's likely to remain atop the upper mid-card through WrestleMania and, depending on how he handles himself both inside the ring and out, could see a main event push before the year ends if all goes well. Styles certainly has the in-ring skills to be positioned at the top, and the charisma is there too. Again, it's Styles' size and the support of backstage officials that will be the challenges AJ has to overcome in order to reach and stay in the main event. Still, if AJ has been brought in to help fans "forget" about the Leader of the Yes Movement, the WWE would be wise to feature The Phenomenal One in the main event picture sooner rather than later.
