10 Current WWE Superstars That Aren't Hurt By Losses
7. Triple H
One of the knocks on Triple H throughout his in-ring career was that he always had to go over.
Thanks to his relationship with Stephanie McMahon, Hunter had a behind-the-scenes influence that his peers could not match. It's often overstated how big of an effect it had on his career, but there's no denying The Game had the stroke.
Triple H's infamous feuds against Booker T, Goldberg, and Randy Orton saw The Game victorious when all the dust settled despite traditional wrestling storytelling suggesting the outcomes should have been otherwise.
Since he made the switch to part-time wrestling and shifted into his Authority character though, Triple H has done his share putting over other talent. His loss to Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX was a huge feather in Bryan's cap, just as it was for Roman Reigns this past WrestleMania. Curtis Axel can also lay claim to multiple victories over Triple H, albeit controversial non-pinfall losses. Still, Triple H hasn't made a habit of losing, recently capturing the WWE Championship for a 14th time and defeating Dean Ambrose en route to WrestleMania 32.
Once again, WWE has found balance with The Game, making sure that he loses just enough to not be predictable. Regardless, his legacy is protected.
