To be perfectly honest, Kane and Daniel Bryan hadn’t quite yet adopted their tag team name, but this match really put them on the map.

At WrestleMania 28 that spring, Bryan lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Sheamus in 18 seconds (and no, that match isn’t on this list). Bryan began a slide downhill, ending with fiancée AJ Lee leaving him at the altar to become Raw GM, where she tormented her former lover.

This led to a perfect Odd Couple pairing of Bryan and Kane, which helped trigger a huge resurgence for Bryan. On this night, the duo captured the tag team championship from R-Truth and Kofi Kingston, leading to an eight-month title reign.
