'The First Lady Of Wrestling' had come through some of her toughest times by early-1992, having supported husband Randy Savage through their terrifying ordeals with Jake Roberts, but her reputation was about to take a battering courtesy of the sh*t-stirring Ric Flair ahead of his title match with the Macho Man at WrestleMania VIII.

'The Nature Boy's gleeful declaration to Savage that "she was mine before she was yours!" cast scorn upon the dignified front Elizabeth upheld, especially when her right to reply wasn't half as loud as Flair's original "reveal".

It proved to be an overreach by the 'Dirtiest Player In The Game'. He may well have defeated Savage in their match before attempting to take the psychological edge, but his plan backfired. The Challenger was an unhinged maniac on the night, determined to rip Flair's head off let alone take his precious gold.
