10 Dumbest WWE Match Finishes This Decade

7. He's Got The Whole World In His Hands (Extreme Rules 2014)

This match was never going to end cleanly - but still, the manner in which Cena lost was particularly insulting.

Cena had already won decisively at WrestleMania, rendering a rematch pointless in the first instance, but that's by the by. WWE's rule of three is dumb enough to warrant its own article. Having gotten the better of Wyatt in their steel cage sequel, not even the other behemoths which made up the rest of the Family were a match for the Face That Runs The Place.

Crotching Erick Rowan on the top of the cage wall, Cena proceeded to legdrop Luke Harper before making an escape attempt.

Just then, a small child with nervously darting eyes serenaded him by singing 'He's got the whole world in his hands' into a voice-manipulated microphone. The kid is dressed in black, but it's still a plain-as-day little kid. No effort was made to put him in ghostly white make up or anything, which somehow would have been less naff.

As ridiculous as that would have looked, it might have made the whole charade look a little more realistic.
