The Moment: Sean Waltman must've known that the WWF would gobble him up as soon as he was fired by WCW's head Eric Bischoff in early-1998. They'd be fools not to; he'd been part of the wildly successfully nWo over on the competition's show, and had previously been quite the worker as The 1-2-3 Kid during his first run.

The Return: Days later, Waltman was repackaged as X-Pac, joined nWo counterpoint D-Generation X and stuck it to WCW in a fiery promo on the post-WrestleMania XIV episode of Raw. It was a memorable re-debut, one that turned Pac from pimply Kid to goatee-sporting renegade before the WWF fanbase's very eyes.

He was back, in a big way. Not only that, but X-Pac was now part of Triple H's brand new vision for DX, and he had instant credibility with legions of young fans who may/may not have been watching his prior stint in the early-to-mid-90s.

Waltman had to know he was quids in as soon as Bischoff canned him.
