10 Fascinating WWE WrestleMania 30 Facts
10. Hulk Hogan Was Instructed To Stay Away From Ultimate Warrior
Bad blood had existed for years between Hogan and Warrior, with Warrior notably posting a lengthy video diatribe dissecting "The Hulkster" shortly after the death of Macho Man Randy Savage in 2011. By 2014, at the time that Warrior was announced as the Hall of Fame headliner for WrestleMania weekend, issues still hadn't been smoothed over.
Hogan was given specific instructions to leave Warrior alone that weekend, as Warrior still wanted nothing to do with him. The two happened to cross paths as Hulk and son Nick toured around The Superdome on a golf cart. As fate had it, there happened to be cameras around when the two engaged in a conversation, leading one to wonder if it was possibly staged.
By most accounts, the two buried the hatchet then and there, and even took photos together with other notables (including Pat Patterson). Warrior's widow Dana, however, claims that Hogan was one of the absolute few from the WWE fold that did not reach out to the family in any way after her husband's passing days later.
