10 Forgotten WCW Wrestlers You Totally Don't Remember

10. The MOD Squad

Here comes the Spike, and here comes the Basher. They're not Demolition, but they do have some banter. That definitely wasn't The MOD Squad's entrance track during their short stay on WCW screens in 1990. The motorcycle cop pair were enhancement talents at best, but they'd actually been around the horn before showing up in the big time.

WCW would be a last hurrah though - both guys retired from the ring in 1991.

Spike was Jim Jefferson and Basher was Mack Jefferson. They came together and debuted as a tag-team in 1984, then worked a few shots here or there for the NWA before the big World Championship Wrestling rebrand. Sadly, The MOD Squad pair wouldn't play a part in WCW's rise throughout the 90s. Again, they'd kissed goodbye to that wrestling noise long before Nitro was ever a thing.

One Reddit user described Spike and Basher as Big Boss Man lite, which is pretty accurate. Vince McMahon probably would've loved a biker tag like this though. Think of the merchandise opportunities! The MOD Squad were money left on the table. Ahem.
