10 Former Lucha Underground Stars Who Found Success In Other Promotions

10. Angelico And Jack Evans

Jack Evans was fairly well known on the American wrestling scene long before being signed by Lucha Underground, having previously worked with companies such as Ring of Honor, TNA, PWG and Dragon Gate. It was his connection with AAA, however, that paved the way for him to become a full-time member of the Lucha Underground roster starting in 2015.

He had some quality matches with Aero Star and Argenis shortly after debuting, but it wasn't until after he joined Worldwide Underground with Johnny Mundo, PJ Black and Taya that he finally found his footing as a heel. Collectively, they reigned as the Trios champions for a time.

Many of those battles came against the trio of Angelico, Ivelisse and Son of Havoc. They were tremendous together, but Angelico shined the brightest of them all. He captured the attention of fans with his high-risk moves, incredible aerial abilities, and awe-inspiring stunts that saw him fly all over The Temple.

In May 2019, it was announced that Evans and Angelico had been signed by All Elite Wrestling as a unit. Although they have yet to pick up their first big win as a team, they wowed audiences with what they can do at Double or Nothing and All Out, so hopefully a run with the AEW World Tag Team Championship is in their future.
