The RAW after WrestleMania XXVI was pretty emotional (to say the least), what with Bret Hart cutting a promo where he mentioned Owen and how he wished he was still here, followed by Shawn Michaels coming out to say goodbye to the fans and thank them for everything. As he was leaving, Triple H came out onto the ramp to embrace his best friend. As everyone in the arena was sobbing, I was like the child of divorcing parents, in complete denial and refusing to accept HBK was leaving. So much so that I convinced myself that Triple H would be turning heel on Michaels right then and there at the top of the ramp and they'd be facing off at Extreme Rules. "Watch for it, he's gonna turn on him, I'm tellin ya" - I would say to my friends, who looked at me as if I was delusional. Obviously they turned out to be right, but I just didn't want Michaels to leave. In hindsight, at least he went out on a high.
