6. Crashing A Jake Roberts Q&A With Honky Tonk Man
As I made my excuses to leave Honky Tonk Man and go downstairs to a Jake Roberts Q&A in the hotel ballroom, Honky decided to come with me. As he walked into the ballroom, the former IC Champ made as much noise as possible so Jake would notice him and invite him on stage. As Jake regaled the audience with old war stories, Honky Tonk Man just listened and drank as much Budweiser as he could. Let's remember that the 2012 Jake The Snake still had his demons, so the Q&A was sad to watch as it felt like Roberts perhaps didn't have long left. Luckily, he turned his life around, but watching Jake and Honky trading war stories in front of fans in Miami was fantastic.
