8. Backstage At The WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony

After my friend hooked us up with some backstage passes for the WWE Hall of Fame, we got on a huge tour bus and headed over to the venue along with the likes of Santino Marella and Curtis Axel. I was pretty nervous about what to expect or who we'd bump into at any given time.

As we walked down a long corridor, I saw the sign for "Hogan Dressing Room" and "Vince's Office" and I felt like I'd need to have my grin surgically removed as I was getting to be among a lot of wrestlers that I'd grown up watching and could potentially mingle with them.

I clocked John Cena on the far left in a deep conversation with Stephanie McMahon but in front of me was my old pal Diamond Dallas Page. I'd hosted a Q&A with him in Glasgow the previous summer so we chatted away and he was excited about inducting his mentor, Jake Roberts.

Mean Gene Okerlund was sipping on a cocktail as he nodded along to Mr T's ramblings, when round the corner came The Undertaker.

He was casually dressed and saying hi to people when a fan asked him for a photo and he seemed happy to oblige. I didn't know if I'd ever have another shot at a snap with The Deadman so I made a beeline for him and managed to get a quick photo before he disappeared into the night not to be seen again until WrestleMania Sunday...
