10 Future Roles For Current WWE Stars

By Jamie Kennedy /

7. Kane (Head Of Gimmick Development)

Glenn Jacobs has been through a lot during his 20-year association with the WWF/WWE. It's maddening to think that Jacobs has played the Kane character for close to 2 decades, but the gimmick has changed a lot during that time frame. In the opinion of some, it may have changed a little too often, but Jacobs can consistently been able to keep himself relevant enough that WWE officials can't resist using him. The man knows what it takes to maintain a level of consistency. That knowledge could provide a key role for him once he eventually retires from active in-ring competition. Why not have Jacobs work with other young talents on developing their characters and gimmicks, looking at longevity as he does so? So many characters rush onto the scene, before fading away quickly. Kane is a perfect example of one that has managed to endure. Jacobs must have secrets to that success. Obviously, there's been some luck involved, but the big man surely has his own personal methods. Sharing that expertise would be crucial, because it could help others have even a fraction of his durability.
