3. The Rock Hits Mick Foley In The Head With A Chair 11 Times

As the years have gone on, pundits have claimed this was not at all a wrestling match. That this was everything that wrestling had degenerated to in the Attitude era. Those pundits are missing what made this match great. This is one of the most barbaric contests ever, which followed an escalating storyline, and turned both men into legends. Foley added Rock to this list of guys who he made look like legitimate tough guys including, HHH, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton and Edge.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCzc64G2rTw At the 99 Royal Rumble, The Rock and Mick Foley took what was thought to be dangerous, and multiplied that by 10. A handcuffed and lacerated Foley took 11 direct shots to the head via chair. Half of the shots were in the back of the head. With the concussion consciousness of today, it€™s safe to say we€™ll never see this again. Imagine if Dolph Ziggler was in this match? Actually, don€™t. This was the most extreme moment of The Rock€™s career, and another jewel in the crown of the King of hardcore, Michael Francis Foley. This match was a big part of the wrestling documentary, Beyond The Mat, that told the real stories of what happened when the bright lights faded. Looking back Foley gave us all way too much, and this list isn€™t done yet.
