10 Great Babyface Wrestlers Who Became SHOCKINGLY Good Heels

3. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn was very much the male equivalent to Bayley during his NXT run.

His one-and-only NXT Championship reign was one of the most feel-good moments in the brand's history, before it was immediately undercut by Kevin Owens powerbombing him into the centre of the Earth.

Many years later, Zayn was able to replicate this success through his interactions with The Bloodline.

When Zayn and Owens defeated The Usos for the tag titles at WrestleMania 39, it provided another hit of pure dopamine that, once again, would be scuppered by Roman Reigns beating Cody Rhodes one night later.

Yet, despite these highest of highs, the red-headed superstar is an utterly brilliant heel. Annoying heel; funny heel; serious heel; Zayn can do it all. Remember, his Bloodline story wouldn't have happened had he not been such an irritating douche to begin with. It's remarkable just how easily this guy can switch between good and bad. His ability to get on audiences' nerves for months and months on end only to win them back round with a single promo is near-magical.

Young wrestlers should watch and learn.
