Just shy of seven years later, Triple H was the one struggling with injury.

At New Year's Revolution 2007, he tore his quadriceps muscle after hitting a seemingly routine Spinebuster on Randy Orton. That turned what should've been a pulsating brawl into a slow-moving one, but the quartet would not be denied and did everything to give fans their money's worth.

Shawn Michaels leapt into high gear and took over most of the bumping for his wounded partner, and Trips soldiered on (much like he had when tearing the same leg muscle back in 2001 towards the end of another tag match) as best he could. It was a tremendous show of toughness and dedication from the man when he would've been forgiven for calling it quits.

HBK's poise and presence of mind was the glue that held this one together though. He, recognising that Hunter couldn't do as much on one leg as he'd be able to on two, led everyone through the remainder of the match and called things on the fly.
