10 Great Wrestling Performances (That Nobody Ever Talks About)

10. Big Show - Vs Sheamus (Hell In A Cell 2012)

By the time Paul Wight was well into his second decade performing under the WWE banner, the former Giant had become something of a seven-foot punching bag for much of the fanbase. Though Big Show undoubtedly still held some value as a bona fide sight to behold, his matches rarely lit arenas on fire and were quickly overshadowed by whatever else was going on in the company at that time.

Yet, seemingly determined to prove he could still bring something to the table at the top of the card, Hell in a Cell 2012 provided Show with his chance to do just that. Matching the always physical Sheamus shot for shot and throwing himself around the ring like a man half his size, the man-mountain provided the World Heavyweight Champion with his toughest challenge to date.

So much so that, after evading a third Brogue Kick and catching the champ flush on the jaw with a sweetly-timed knockout punch, Show became the new World Champion for the second time to the sound of a shocked-to-their-core Phillips Arena. There's an argument to be made that Wight has still yet to top this jaw-dropping coronation.
