10 Best WWE Theme Songs From CFO$

7. NXT - "Roar Of The Crowd"

As NXT evolved from a reality show to a full-fledged hour-long developmental wrestling program, it had a few different songs along the way. There was "Wild & Young" during the reality phase, which was fitting for a group of hungry wrestlers eager to get to the top.

Then the show changed its tune and its premise, licensing "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria, a pretty big deal for a show as small (at the time) as NXT. The intro took the most emphatic parts of that six-minute song, getting you excited for what was to come each and every week.

However, WWE almost always prefers to write its own songs, and so it tasked CFO$ to come up with a suitable NXT intro theme. Lauri and Alicastro wrote "Roar of the Crowd," which has Metallica-like vocals later on, but you never hear that in the 30-second intro.

As the singer goes on about how electric a crowd gets and later sings about "the fire running through your veins/stand like you're 10 feet tall", how can both performers and attendees alike not be in the mood for an epic show?
