10 Greatest Displays Of Chemistry In WWE History

4. Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker

There's a reason why Shawn Michaels chose The Undertaker to have his last ever match. Both guys had been through it all together, right back to the days of 'Hulkamania' when they were simply bit part players in the Hulk Hogan show. As the 1990's progressed, they eventually became natural enemies. In 1997, they put together the first ever Hell In A Cell bout, and it remains one of the best. A back injury suffered by Michaels during a Casket Match at the 1998 Royal Rumble would cost him years on the shelf. The match was well-worked however, but it was only an appetizer for what was to come further on down the line. When Shawn Michaels returned in 2002, few knew what to expect. Surely he wouldn't be the same dynamic performer as he had been 4 years ago. As it turned out, he reinvented himself, arguably going on to have a better run than his first. A key part of that would wind up being The Undertaker. At both WrestleMania XXV and XXVI, 'Taker and HBK put on back-to-back classics. It was almost as though they were tailor-made to face one another, and they certainly brought out the best in the other man. Michaels is defiant in claims that he will never wrestle again. If true, his 'Mania XXVI bout against Undertaker was one hell of a match to go out on.
