One of the only other stadium 'Manias of the last decade in which the set-up stood out among the other larger venues. WWE took a major risk holding an outdoor show in northern New Jersey the first week of April, given the higher risk of rain, and the fact that temperatures could still dip into the forties at night. Fortunately, the company dodged some bullets, and weather wasn't an issue. The set was among one of the more captivating, with a replica model of the Brooklyn Bridge bisecting the entrance way, and the Statue of Liberty sitting atop the tarpaulin that protected the ring from the elements. WWE is forever interwoven with New York, and there was something comfortably 'home' about all of the scenery.
