CM Punk is one of the adaptable wrestlers in recent memory: he can work virtually any wrestling style, against any opponent, and hes a genius on the microphone. Since his corporate rebel took off in 2011, weve heard CM Punk say a lot of interesting things, and many of them were things hed think of right on the spot. While his infamous pipe bomb and subsequent promos were all golden moments, some of his best work was when he did commentary for WWE NXT, back when it was still the competition show:Basically, CM Punk spends the entire hour of NXT making unusual references and insulting both Josh Matthews and Michael Cole to great effect. One of his best lines was, after AJ Lee did an arm drag and Josh Matthews suggested it was a lucha libre move, Punk interfered, saying, it was an arm drag. Americans to arm drags too. The delivery and timing of that phrase were absolutely perfect, and highlighted Punks ability to show humor when he wants to. If Punk ever needed proof to back up his claim that hes better than the guys at the commentary table, this video is it. Pretty much everything he said was ad-libbed, and the result was one of the funniest nights in NXT history.
