10 Greatest WWE Summertime Feuds

4. Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. The Hart Foundation (1997)

Austin was suddenly the foul-mouthed, home-invading answer to 1980s Hulkamania, and was pitted squarely against Hart and his closest relatives, both blood and by marriage.

The angle was the first to present Austin as a babyface, matching him up with the likes of Bret, Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith, and Brian Pillman on a near-weekly basis. Other American wrestlers sided with Austin in an early form of wrestling border wars, but the steam went out when Owen badly injured Austin's neck with a piledriver gone wrong.

Until then, Raw is War was becoming must-see television due to the patriotic turf war at hand.
