The already difficult task of figuring out which wrestlers are the most hard-working becomes even more challenging when you reach the subject of tag team competitors, since a lot of their "match time" is actually spent standing on the apron.

Then again, standing on the apron probably isn't quite as easy at it looks. You've got to wear a concerned expression on your face constantly, and keep your arm out-stretched in preparation for a tag.

Whatever the case, Sheamus was definitely one of the most prolific wrestlers/apron-standers in 2017, in conjunction with the all-conquering two-piece he formed with fellow workhorse Cesaro late the previous year.

Actually, we should probably reserve a special shout out for The Celtic Warrior. As well as being one of the hardest current workers, you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who has done so much for WWE over the last 10 or so years. The guy is a genuine trooper.
