Briefly appearing in TNA throughout the protracted X Division Showcase Tournament in 2011, Anthony Nese is a much different performer now than he was back then. For a start, Nese - already an impressive physical specimen - is in even better shape, and actually has an air of Chris Masters about him. That's where the comparisons end, Nese is a far quicker worker than Masters could ever hope to be, and fits nicely into the fast-paced surroundings of the Dragon Gate USA roster. Not the tallest guy in the world, Nese is 5' 10", he could still make a splash on the WWE roster, if booked correctly. Currently holding the DG USA Open The United Gate Championship, with Kaleb Conley and former WWE star Trent Baretta, Nese is another prime candidate for tag-team duty, or a spot on NXT. It's unlikely that WWE haven't already had a look at him, but, at only 29 years of age, it'll be very surprising if he's not snapped up in 2015.
