Young Bucks or FTR? Moxley or Kingston? Jericho or MJF?
The final AEW pay-per-view of 2020 is upon us, and while several of the nine matches on the card have suffered from middling or inconsistent builds, the fantastic go-home episode of Dynamite could scarcely have done more to warm fans up for a bumper card.
AEW's last PPV, All Out, was a letdown for its overlong runtime, disappointing Tag Team Title match, and of course, the worrying Matt Hardy incident. Everything about Full Gear's lineup suggests a better outing here. No, these stories haven't been perfect, but the pairings are excellent and there should be more than enough to scratch most fans' itches, from the cinematic Elite Deletion to the surefire Kenny Omega/Hangman Page banger.
There's more to delivering a great pay-per-view than nailing the pairings, though. While these shows are usually net positives, AEW PPVs generally aren't as consistent as the weekly product. Fingers crossed they get it right
From Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley's "I Quit" match for the AEW World Title to the years-in-the-making FTR vs. Young Bucks tag team dream match, there's a lot going on. Off the card, Team Taz is lurking PAC's return appears to be imminent, and the promotion is teasing a major debut.
