This bout's leap from the Buy In to the main card was merited.
Cassidy's popularity is well established, as he was a hit with live crowds before the global health crisis and regularly helps drive quarter-hour viewing figures in the right direction. Silver, meanwhile, has maximised his minutes like nobody else over the past few months, pouring his enormous personality into everything he does, from BTE skits to Dark Order spots on Dynamite, shooting himself to a different level of prominence in the process. Three months ago, Silver was a bit-parter; now, he's a potential breakout prospect.
Expect a hoot. Both Silver and Cassidy are excellent at working their shtick into matches without sacrificing the accepted psychology and reality of a professional wrestling match. They'll screw around before exploding to life, and with Silver's Cesaro-esque eruption in the 21 October Dynamite main event, you can prepare to pop yourself daft.
The gulf in current card position makes the outcome relatively straightforward, though Silver will emerge stronger from this.
