All Elite Wrestling's latest pay-per-view, Revolution, goes down this Saturday night (29 February), as the promotion brings a loaded card to Chicago's Wintrust Arena on the back of a notable creative upturn in 2020.

The lineup shows the strength of AEW's post-Christmas run. Some of these matches have been in the works for months and even those that haven't have come around through smart, engaging storytelling. Kris Statlander vs. Nyla Rose is perhaps the only exception to this, with the match booked following a brief face-to-face on Dynamite, but the challenger still earned her spot by collecting three victories in a row. "Wins and losses matter," etc.

Revolution should also be the truest test of AEW's PPV drawing power yet, given the near-universal acclaim Dynamite has attracted lately. Full Gear scored somewhere between 90,000 and 100,000 buyers in November. Saturday's show has benefitted from a stronger build which should, in theory, translate to better business, though there's a chance that AEW simply has a loyal fanbase of roughly 100,000 fans who'll purchase the show every single time regardless of television. We'll find out when the numbers are released.
