10 Huge Names Who Won't Be Competing At WrestleMania 32

2. The Rock

WrestleMania 32 suffered a huge blow last week when WWE's creative team was told not to plan on The Rock competing at the event. According to reports, insurers and producers associated with an upcoming film of "The Great One's" are concerned about the possibility of injury to the star, so they've put the kibosh on any plans he had for the show. It's a fair request, given that The Rock was hurt at WrestleMania XXIX, forcing a delay on the filming of Hercules. WWE had been planning on a Rock-Triple H singles encounter at the show, a match which was first teased in late 2014 and then built up at WrestleMania 31. With The Rock off the show, not only does WWE lose their most recognizable star, but the program is scrapped and the company needs to start from scratch. To make matters worse, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that due to filming commitments, The Rock might not even be able to appear at the show in a non-wrestling capacity. While the former WWE Champion will undoubtedly move heaven and earth to be there if he can, his presence is still very much up in the air.
