10 Huge Names Who Won't Be Competing At WrestleMania 32

7. Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels got one of the best send-offs in wrestling history in 2010. After failing to defeat The Undertaker in an amazing match at WrestleMania XXVI, he was forced to retire. The following night on Raw, he made a passionate, emotional speech that brought tears to eyes and drew a huge TV rating. Fans loved "The Heartbreak Kid," and everyone remembers watching him ride into the sunset one last time. Michaels has remained retired in the five-plus years since WrestleMania XXVI, but it hasn't been for WWE's lack of trying to get him to come back. HBK confirmed that he was contacted by the company about wrestling a match at WrestleMania 32, with WWE higher-ups apparently feeling that the opportunity to work in front of the largest crowd in WWE history (in Michaels's home state, no less) would be enough to get the legend to reconsider his retirement. Michaels, however, turned down the opportunity. Not only is he satisfied to be out of the ring, but he didn't want to disrespect The Undertaker or the fans by breaking his vow never to compete again. While HBK may very well show up at WrestleMania, he won't be having a match.
