WWE's already-thin roster suffered a major blow earlier this month when reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins blew out his knee in a house show match with Kane. With estimates stating that he'd need six to nine months off following surgery, the company was forced to strip him of his title and hold a tournament to determine a new champion. With John Cena and Brock Lesnar already taking short leaves of absence from the company (but thankfully, returning before the end of the year), the roster has been essentially decimated. When it comes to Rollins, cold hard facts are the issue - a six month absence puts him out until May, while nine months stretches to August. While the former WWE Champion will be a major babyface star upon his return, odds are he'll be coming back for a SummerSlam program - WrestleMania is out of the question.
