Ordinarily, the challenge would be in trying to find a bit more narrative juice in the variously well-squeezed fruits WWE lay out on display for their monthly supershow, but why bother as we continue to navigate through the darkest timeline? The conversation points are either too enormous for us to comprehend or too petty to bother paying attention to. The shows are still taking place at great risk to all involved - enough that many performers seem to be disappearing from view for the good of their health if not their character's immediate future. Roman Reigns set the standard before WrestleMania, so the company lowered their own ridiculously low bar of late by editing the cancer survivor out of his own matches. No risk, no reward, eh?

That's the (stolen from TNA) line they've gone with for this one, but it's never felt quite so out of place. Last year, Michael Cole was told to ramp up his personal horror at what he could see to sell the audacity of Brock Lesnar nipping in and stealing the case at the end. This year, he'll have to stress his panic at the prospect of somebody falling off a building. And that's only the second biggest detriment to the health of the talent.

It won't stop being weird, but it also won't stop, so here's some possible outcomes from the latest bout of insanity...

10. Drew McIntyre (c) Vs. Seth Rollins

A surprisingly enjoyable series of promos between Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins has set up the 'Scottish Psychopath's first pay-per-view title defence as one with a welcome amount of pressure on it.

The company threw him in at the deep end as champion, giving him The Big Show after WrestleMania went off the air and a John Cena-adjacent run on Raw beating decent opposition most weeks since then.

Rollins' verbals have been tremendous in helping him rebound from the Kevin Owens 'Show Of Shows' loss and the lack of AOP by his side. 'The Monday Night Messiah's relationship with Murphy also felt frayed on the go-home edition of Raw, which could well give the company an out if they want Rollins to lose again without having him completely brutalised by the Champion.

Victory for McIntyre is the only certainty here. Hopefully the quality of the fight matches the decent back-and-forth between the pair and Rollins's own title defence at this show last year.

Winner - Drew McIntyre
