Basically half of WrestleMania 34's card.
WrestleMania is long. Longer than most movie marathons. Longer than entire seasons of TV. Longer then being stuck on a flight between two people who breathe through their nose and chew with their mouths open. Longer than this intro.
With so much time to play with WWE usually do a good job of cramming everyone onto the show in some capacity or another. Between the Andre The Giant and Absolutely Not Moolah Battle Royals there’s at least something for everyone to do, no matter how inconsequential.
But still, with the company persisting in its policy of hoovering up every available wresters purely so others can’t use them, their roster is now comically swollen. Calling up 4 of NXT’s biggest names in an attempt to solve a lack of perceived “star power” hasn’t helped either.
With a month to go (dear god where is 2019 going?!) WWE find themselves on the precipice of having to stick some of their biggest names on the pre-show or, worse still, leave them out entirely. Names that 12 months ago would have been unthinkable omissions…
