10 HUGE WWE Stomping Grounds Predictions You Need To Know

5. Roman Reigns Vs. Drew McIntyre

Will this actually be quite good? Can it be?

Their last pay-per-view effort was quite a puzzler. WrestleMania 35 wasn't the night for Roman Reigns to go longer than two minutes, but Drew McIntyre wasn't the man to be losing a two minute squash on the 'Show Of Shows'. As always, when WWE aims for the middle ground, they hit the target - the contest was so-so in the extreme and didn't exactly leave much room for a particularly exciting rematch.

Enter Shane McMahon. Even when you want him to exit.

'The Boy Wonder' has developed a unique chemistry with 'The Big Dog' and the 'Scottish Psychopath' as an enemy and ally respectively, and though the bigger picture presumably paints an almighty spear out of 'Shane-O-Mac's blood, sweat and tears, the series of battles to delay the inevitable have carried a certain charm.

All that said, Roman's Saudi Arabia loss was a total f*cking insult to the narrative. Shane the sh*thouse can't keep chewing up matches like that even if he's booked to win via fluke - it's here where Reigns needs redemption again in a situation where Drew isn't really strong enough to provide it. More potato punches before a Superman one seals it at Stomping Grounds, as Raw/SmackDown/WWE rolls on.

Winner - Roman Reigns
