10 HUGE WWE SummerSlam 2020 Predictions You Need To Know
10. "Bonus" Matches
Absolutely not a complaint, but SummerSlam's card is currently looking a little lean for something the company are very keen to present as a Big Four show.
The first pay-per-view (and only second show overall) to take place in the Thunderdome will surely go longer than the tight and timely three hour events that have made up WWE's pay-per-view schedule in the global b*stard era, and there are lots of midcard matches bubbling under if the company can't be a*sed to wait another week.
Big E's first month as a singles star hasn't brought him to SummerSlam, yet. Shorty G's recent turn has been an unmitigated disaster but the little blighter sure can work. Lacey Evans and Naomi could half-finish what they've half started. AJ Styles is set to defend to the Intercontinental Championship on television instead of a pay-per-view, but there's worse wrestlers than 'The Phenomenal One' should they need somebody for the Kickoff. Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are barred from helping MVP, but free to have a drab tag team match. The 24/7 Title is always at large, and so are The Group Known As Retribution. It's been days since The Iiconics and The Riott Squad interacted.
Ninjas too. And Where's Vink?
This entry is not a beg for any of this, just a reality check for those that might need it. What appears as the current card on Thursday/Friday surely won't be it's final form by Saturday Sunday. It's the Biggest Party Of The Summer after all.
