10 HUGE WWE Survivor Series 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

Who wins when Raw and SmackDown go to war, and will The Undertaker say goodbye FOREVER?

At time of writing, the Survivor Series card had six confirmed matches, pitting all the Raw and SmackDown champions against each other and teams of five in the male and female divisions representing whatever f*cking t-shirt they pulled on in the draft just a few weeks ago.

Some of this isn't a complaint. For one, WWE should be credited for keeping pay-per-views relatively trim this year. For another, if you're an attire obsessive it's quite fun seeing wrestlers getting gear made especially for the now-annual occasion. If these seem like rather generous takes on a laboured format, it's because they are and the rest of it is a complaint.

We are into the fifth consecutive year of the brands battling one another on the November show, and are still yet to hear a single motivation for either side to be taking on the other. It provides a creative diversion from the typical angles for a month, but that's typically at the expense of the shows themselves - it's all teams in-fighting and feuds very clearly on hold until the final Big Four show of the year is out of the way.

It's trickier with this one, because they change direction all the time on what the pre-show of this show is supposed to offer. A NXT Cruiserweight Title match is a possibility, with 205 Live constantly in brand warfare with itself and titleholder Santos Escobar more familiar with Wednesdays than...whatever night 205 Live aired last week.

If it's got to be about belts, perhaps R-Truth can lead a chase in between segments during the panel analysis segments? He's done similar for the last year and a half and they've dared to consider it a suitable way to waste the time.

If neither or those are on offer, the company might resort to a B-Squad singles or, worse, a tag team elimination match to kickstart the Red Vs Blue proper. The less said about the state of that division, the better. Here's hoping they just fill it with Undertaker-adjacent legends and Savio Vega ends his WWE career where he started it - delighting hardly any paying punters on a pre-show.

Speaking of 'The Deadman'...
